Rick continues to get good reviews from course participants -
Hi Rick,
Thanks for the Spey casting lessons today. We were all very impressed by your teaching and casting abilities. You demonstrated a lot of patience in teaching a group of old Coots like us. I hope to learn more from you in the future. I would certainly recommend you to others interested in learning fly fishing. - Leo Winter

Hi Rick -
I just returned from my trip to King Salmon, Alaska. The
weather was bitterly cold and fishing was generally
poor, however, I did catch this big resident rainbow on
my 9/10 Loomis Dredger GLX spey rod, the Airflow Skagit
head and ridge running line. I used a full 12 feet of
the sinking tip and the fish never had a chance
against my Ross Momentum 7 reel. I was swinging one of
those heavily weighted, articulated flesh flies that I
showed you.
Thanks
for the spey casting lessons and single-handed tune up.
I got this great fish as a result of a long double spey
cast into unwadable rapids. I also caught quite a few
rainbows over 20 inches on my 8/9 Kispiox spey rod,
using a floating tip and beads.
